Please be Advised:

There are many fraudulent websites including, TownofYork.ca, OttawaStamps.com, TorontoFirstPostOffice.com, TorontoPostOffice.com, that are not affiliated with Toronto’s First Post Office or the Town of York Historical Society, who are replicating our content and design. These fraudulent websites have caused confusion among our customers who might mistakenly think they are purchasing from us. Additionally, TownofYork.ca, OttawaStamps.com, TorontoFirstPostOffice.com, TorontoPostOffice.com, and other fraudulent sites are running ads on Instagram and Facebook under our business name and selling stamps at a discount. As stamp rates are regulated by the Federal Government, current stamps in circulation are never sold at a discount. These ads do not come from TownofYork.com or our official social media accounts. We have reported these imitation Facebook and Instagram pages to Meta. For your safety and security, please only purchase from our official website, TownofYork.com, and ensure any social media interactions are conducted through our official handles: Instagram: @TOs1stPO; Facebook: /TOs1stPO. We are actively working to resolve this issue but unfortunately Meta refuses to take down the ads and social media profiles. If you have placed any orders through TownofYork.ca, OttawaStamps.com, TorontoPostOffice.com, TorontoFirstPostOffice.com or any other site we recommend contacting your bank. If you have any further questions, please email info@tos1stpo.com.

There is a stair free entrance at the rear of the building. Walk north on George Street past Adelaide Street East. Locate the Beaver Stamp on the ground and turn right towards a black gate.
