Join Toronto’s First Post Office for one of two writing sessions on May 11th to learn the history behind Mother’s Day, and of course, write your letter to Mom as they would have in the 1830s, complete with a wax seal. Younger participants will have the option to craft their own paper carnation flower, the official symbol of Mother’s Day, in lieu of writing a letter. In addition, copies of transcribed letters from our collection written from a mother to her son will be on display! All ages are welcome. Pre-registration is required and spots are limited!

First Session: May 11th, 1-2pm
Second Session: May 11th, 6-7pm
